Deven P. Moon Obituary

With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Deven P. Moon (Lewiston, Maine), born in Ellsworth, Maine, whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. Deven left this world on February 7, 2025 at the age of 51, leaving a void in the lives of so many people. As we bid farewell to this cherished soul, solace is taken in the memories held dear — the laughter shared, the wisdom imparted, the moments of quiet reflection in their presence. Though Deven may no longer walk among us, his spirit lives on in the echoes of his kindness, the warmth of his embrace, and the light of his enduring love.

He was predeceased by: his father Robert Moon Sr.; his nephew Brett Moon; and his great-niece Jennifer Johnson. He is survived by: his mother Louise Alley (Cowperthwaite) of Bangor; his significant other Mary Johnson of Lewiston; his children, Dustin Moon and Alexis Moon (Thomas Bowden); his brothers, Rob Moon (Joline) and Frank Moon; his nieces, Samantha, Sierra and Cheyenne; and his nephew Bryce. He is also survived by many aunts, uncles, and cousins.

A celebration of life will be held on Sunday, February 23rd 2025 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the American Legion Post 205 (396 Eastern Ave, Augusta, ME 04330).
