With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Maxine Stevens of Leeds, Maine, born in Readfield, Maine, who passed away on December 1, 2021 at the age of 86. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Osborn Wells and Lucille Wells (Tucker); her husband Frank Lewis Stevens; her brother Linwood Wells; and her daughter-in-law Debra Stevens.

She is survived by: her children, James Stevens of Minot, Carla Pottle of Greene and Pamela Stevens of Lewiston; and her siblings, Arthur, Lawrence, Kenneth Wells, Eleanor Brennen and Norma Wells. She is also survived by 5 grandchildren, 10 great-grandchildren.
