He was predeceased by: his mother Ruth Patenaude; his brother Michael Patenaude (Susan); his wife Verna Garland (Potvin); and his stepson Keith Potvin. He is survived by: his brother John Patenaude of Dracut, MA; his sons, Randall Garland of Lebanon, ME and Robert Garland of Rochester, NH; his stepchildren, Larry Potvin of Acton, ME, Paul Potvin of Somersworth, NH, Lori Leach (Potvin) of Lebanon, ME and Arlene Hall (Potvin) of Berwick, ME; and his close friend Nancy Purcell of Rochester, NH. He is also survived by 4 grandchildren, 14 step-grandchildren, and several step-great-grandchildren.
