It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Stanley Wilson of Lamoine, Maine, born in Augusta, Maine, who passed away on October 19, 2021, at the age of 88, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Lewis Wilson and Rena Wilson (Barrows); his son Stan Wilson, Jr.; and his granddaughter Jamie Detzer. He is survived by: his children, Anita Raymond (Richard) of Franklin, Debbie Petzer, Alani, Patricia Ann Caplinger, Jalaine, Brittney, Alexis, Jason Goodins, Josh Raymond, Carl Wilson (Stephanie) of Lamoine and Mitchell; his grandsons, Jason and Jesse Wilson of Lantana, FL.; his sister-in-law Jane Johnson; and his pets, Blackie and Muffin.

Contributions in Stan's memory may be made to the SPCA, 141 Bar Harbor Road, Trenton 04605.

“In loving memory of Stanley Wilson, Someone so special will not be forgotten. I met Stan in 1973 when he moved onto, what was, the Grindles land, formerly, my dad's. Stan was personable, witty, always the jokester. He was always jovial and fun to talk with. I'd walk up from our cabin at Berry Cove to visit. I miss him dearly. Each time I head to Lamoine, I can't believe he's not there next to dads house, my house. Heartfelt blessings to all of his family.~♡”
