He was predeceased by: his parents, Carleton I. Brodie and Rita Brodie (Ingalls); his siblings, Sheila Knight and Brian Brodie; and his son Ralph Brodie.
He is survived by: his spouse Hubene Worcester Brodie; his son Carleton Brodie III; his wife Cindy Brodie of Jacksonville; his children, Debra Brodie of Bangor, Lynne Best of Marshfield, MA, Julie Sattler (Jason) of Hancock and Paul Butler; his grandchildren, Heather Brodie, John Brodie, Michael Best, Jennifer Best, Julie Best, Kristina Brodie, Haley Sattler and Hayden Sattler; his great grandchildren, Alexus, Ryan, Camryn, Emily, King and Gabriel; his sisters, Patricia Archer and Brenda Bryant (Larry); his sister-in-law Christine Brodie; and also, Hubert Brodie (Deanna) of Compton, NH, Aunt and Fern Ingalls Kelly. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
