He was predeceased by: his father Alton J. Lapointe, Sr.; his son Richard; and his brother Jim. He is survived by: his mother Villette "Vicki" Chapman (Morton); his son Josh; his grandson Alec; his sisters, Debra Smart, Linda Washburn and Robin Burns; and his pet Dozer. He is also survived by several aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews.
