She was predeceased by: her husband Robert H. Souther; her daughter Nancy Anne Souther; and her sisters, Ruth Penofsky of Brentwood, NY and Elizabeth "Betty" Seward of Kittery. She is survived by: her parents, Artemas S. Tibbetts and Hattie Lyla Tibbetts (Warren); her children, Robert (Barbara) of Caribou and Phyllis Barry (Michael) of Old Bethpage, NY; her granddaughters, Bethany Zell (James) of Caribou and Barbara "B. J." Kopishke (Matthew) of Liberty; and her great grandchildren, Christina Zell, Elizabeth Zell, Tanner Zell, Abigail Kopishke and Emily Kopishke. She is also survived by four nieces and nephews.
