It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Philip H. McGranahan (Kittery, Maine), born in Manchester, New Hampshire, who passed away on January 20, 2019, at the age of 69, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Philip Henry McGranahan and Catherine McGranahan (Moran); his wife Marjorie Foote of Kittery; his sisters, Eileen McGranahan (Leonard Rizzuto) of Everett, MA and Mary McGranahan (Louie Bentgen) of Nahant, MA; and his cousin Margaret-Ann Moran of Manchester, NH. He was also cherished by friends for being the man he was: a quiet, smart, funny, occasional curmudgeon who was an unfailing protector for his two sisters, a loving husband and loyal friend.
