Though Gerald may no longer walk beside us, his memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Gerald touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In his absence, his spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
He was predeceased by: his parents, John Rutledge and Mary Rutledge (O'Malley). He is survived by: his wife Joan H. Rutledge (Faulkingham); his stepchildren, Michael H. Bellemare of Rochester, NH and Renee M. Bellemare; his stepgrandchildren, Marissa and Kristen Blake; and his brothers, Michael Rutledge of York, ME and James Rutledge of Rockport, MA.. He is also survived by his family and friends.
