It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Virginia Reid of Kennebunkport, Maine, who passed away on January 15, 2022, at the age of 97, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Samuel A. Franklin and Mildred Agnes LaChomas Franklin; her husband Wallace Edward Reid; her daughter Deidre Ann Nelson; and her brothers, Samuel E. and Robert W. Franklin.
She is survived by: her children, Alice Reid Moisen of South Portland, Robert Wallace Reid (Janice) of Leland, Jonathan Scott Reid (Susan) of Arundel, Paul Shannon Reid (Maritza) of Mason and Richard Alan Reid (Kathy) of Brookings. She is also survived by 13 grandchildren and 9 great grandchildren.
