He was predeceased by: his parents, Herbert Smith and Muriel Smith (Weldon); and his brother Craig Weldon Smith. He is survived by: his wife Sarah Ewell Smith; his children, Margo Virginia Smith and Zachary Craig Smith; his daughter-in-law Melissa Rachel Weiner; and his grandchildren, Caroline Ava and Greyson Hamilton Smith.
