It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Susan H. MacCachran-Ingholt of Kennebunkport, Maine, who passed away on January 8, 2025, at the age of 91, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Katherine Twombly Hamilton and Frank Ellesmere Hamilton; her husbands, Robert MacCachran and Harald Ingholt; and her siblings, George T. Hamilton and Mary Lou McClelland.
She is survived by: her children, Caroline MacCachran of Kennebunkport, Bradford MacCachran (Barbara Ginley) of Portland, ME and Andrew MacCachran (Sabrina Silverstein) of West Haven, CT.; her grandchildren, Benjamin Lepordo, Samuel Lepordo, Hannah Lepordo of Denver, CO, Cyrus MacCachran of Chicago, IL and Tobias MacCachran of Portland, ME.; her stepchildren, Nancy Evans (Steven) of Ashland, NE and Paul Ingholt (Dana) of Vienna, VA; her sister-in-law Helen Hamilton of Exeter, NH; and her nephews, Robert B. Hamilton (Heidi) of Greenland, NH and Christopher S. Hamilton (Jennifer) of Sandown, NH.
