It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Richard L. Pickering in Kennebunkport, Maine, born in Salem, Massachusetts, who passed away on January 30, 2022, at the age of 85, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, John Pickering and Ruth Pickering (Benson); his brothers, John, Tim and Henry; his close friend Hank Burns; his children, Richard, Nathan and Tina; his grandchildren, Quincy, Carter and Sydney; his great grandchildren, Dan, Tori and Andrea; his grandchildren, Alex, Grace, Kaylee and Madison; his friend Brian Harris; and his son Jackson. He was also cherished by nieces and nephews and friends.
Attendees in person should be vaccinated and wear masks.
Contributions in Dick's memory may be given to the Belfast Soup Kitchen or St. Giles Episcopal Church in Jefferson, Maine.
