James D. Bouras Obituary

We are sad to announce that on February 4, 2025, at the age of 90, James D. Bouras of Kennebunkport, Maine, born in Peabody, Massachusetts passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

In the soft embrace of remembrance, we recall the profound impact James had on those he encountered along his journey. Though James may have slipped beyond the veil of mortality, his essence lingers like a faint fragrance in the air, a lingering reminder of the beauty and complexity of the human experience.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Greek Immigrants Ernest and Terpshory Bouras (Kessaris). He is survived by: his sons, Ernest Bouras of Kennebunkport and Dimitri Bouras of Kennebunkport; his granddaughter Anastasia Zoe Bouras; his nephew Dr. Ernest Bouras (Olga) of Florida; and his nieces, Diane Moshos (Theodore) of Florida and Terry Bolin (Todd) of Minnesota.

Visitation was held on Wednesday, February 12th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Saint Constantine and Helen Greek Orthodox Church (14 Magazine St, Cambridge, MA 02139). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, February 12th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
