He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph A. Bergeron and Lucia Bergeron; and his siblings, Henry Bergeron, Lucien Bergeron, Irene Kirkstead, Maryanne Harrington and Claudette Matthews.

He is survived by: his former wife Carol Giguere; his daughter Danna Smail (Duane) of Lyman; his grandchildren, Darci Fournier (Mark) of Alfred and Josh Smail (Shelly) of Manchester, NH; his great grandchildren, Halleigh and Jarrett Fournier; and his siblings, Paul Bergeron (Faye) of Kennebunkport and Mildred Cluff of Kennebunkport.
