Elliott Chidley Speers Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Elliott Chidley Speers of Kennebunkport, Maine, born in Winchester, Massachusetts, who passed away on October 7, 2024, at the age of 85, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, William J. Speers and Elizabeth Chidley Speers; his brothers, Geoffrey Speers and Tommy Porter; and his son-in-law Stephen Spofford.
He is survived by: his wife Anne Whitney Speers (Frey) of Kennebunkport; his daughters, Elizabeth Spofford of Kennebunk, ME and Whitney Speers Coviello (John Crowley) of Denver, CO.; his grandchildren, Will, Maggie, Kate, Jack and Grace; his siblings, Pam Hayes (Peter) of Portland, OR, Gayle Lewis of Bedford, MA and Bill Speers (Gail) of Avon, CT; and his sister-in-law Libby Porter of Winchester, MA.
