We are sad to announce that on December 11, 2020, Valerie Baker of Kennebunk, Maine, born in Grosse Pointe Farms, Michigan passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was loved and cherished by many people including: her children, Mia and Val; her parents, Mariette Tack Dhaveloose and Grosse Pointe; her husband Arthur Peter Baker of Kennebunk; her sons, Ryan Baker (Jodie) of Hopkinton, MA and Kyle Baker (Andrea) of Alfred; her siblings, Ronnie Dhaveloose, Diane Halley and Maribeth Harris; her stepdaughter Kim; and her grandchildren, Brody, Austin, Jameson, Colbie and Riley Baker.

All will be asked to comply with CDC guidelines of wearing a mask and physically distancing during this time.

Should friends desire, memorial contributions may be made to the Valerie Baker Scholarship fund to be established through the Kennebunk School System.
