It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Sumner C. Hammond of Kennebunk, Maine, who passed away on September 19, 2022, at the age of 100, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his wife Alice Hammond (Stone); his grandson Douglas Edward Hammond; and his great grandchild Casey Hammond Webber. He is survived by: his children, Judith Brown (Richard) of Hudson, MA., John (Elizabeth) of Kennebunk, ME., Russell (Janice) of Weston, MA. and Philip (Lynne) of Natick, MA.; and his grandchildren, Heather Lussier, Kristen Hawkins, Andrew Hammond, Abigail Walker, Molly Webber, Alex Hammond and Christina Hammond.
