As Sherrin departs from our midst, her spirit ascends to join the cosmic dance of stars, a shimmering constellation of memories that will forever grace the night sky of the hearts of those who loved Sherrin. Though Sherrin may no longer walk beside us, her legacy lives on — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of time and space.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Edwin Burns and Edna Burns (MacDonald); her husband John Peter Connolly Sr.; and her son John Peter Connolly Jr.. She is survived by: her sister Beverly Burns Holloran; her children, Jane Ellen Tully (Edward) of New York and Timothy Connolly of Massachusetts; and her grandchildren, Daniel Smith Tully of New York and Caitlin Burns Tully of New York.
In lieu of flowers, the Family would encourage memorial contributions to St. Jude's Hospital.
