He was predeceased by: his sister Elizabeth Curran; and his parents, Robert W Cole Sr. and Dorothy T Cole. He is survived by: his wife Joan M Cole of Searsport; his children, Martha Cole of Charlotte, Peter, Priscilla Cole of Aurora, Stephen and Karen Cole of Dayton; his grandchildren, Emory Cole of Oakland and Eliza Cole (Jared St Onge) of Kennebunk; and his siblings, Gordon, Isolde Cole of Dayton and Marjorie Thompson of Ferryville. He is also survived by cousins, nieces, nephews, grand-nieces and grand-nephews.
