She was predeceased by: her parents, Fred W. Cole and Grace J. Cole (Gerrish); her husband Dwight Ames, Jr.; her son Joel L. Ames; and her siblings, Charles Cole, David Cole and Laura Palmer.
She is survived by: her daughter Judith Bernard of Shapleigh, Maine. She is also survived by 10 grandchildren; 20 great grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.
