It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Katharine Bassett (Kennebunk, Maine), born in Cleveland, Ohio, who passed away on March 17, 2020, at the age of 91, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, William Charles McCoy, Sr. and Katharine Bell McCoy; her husband Charles C. Bassett, III; her son Daniel McCoy Bassett (Mac); her granddaughter Katharine R. Dickerson; her brother William C. McCoy of Hunting Valley, Ohio; her children, Charles Corning Bassett (Chip) of Arundel, ME and Katharine Bassett Dickerson (Jim) of Lyon, MS; her grandchildren, Elizabeth C. Bassett (Lizzie) of Los Angeles, CA, Dr. James C. Dickerson, Palo Alto and John M. Dickerson (Mac) of Wilton, ME; and her nieces and nephews, Sarah S. McCoy, Louise M. Franke, William B. McCoy and Peter A. McCoy.
