It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Joyce E. Cotton (Kennebunk, Maine), who passed away on February 28, 2025, at the age of 72, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Anne Doherty and Joseph Doherty; her brother John Doherty; and her brothers-in-law, Joseph Liepetro and Edward Dolan.
She is survived by: her husband Paul B Cotton; her daughters, Katherine A. Cotton and Abigail B. Cotton of Kennebunk, ME; her stepdaughter Charlotte Scott; her grandchildren, James A. Scott and Gracen E. Scott of Merrimac, MA.; and her siblings, Carol Collins (Joe), Joseph Doherty (Lee), Margo Liepetro, Elaine Dolan and Maureen Gormley (Paul). She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Friday, March 7th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Bibber Memorial Chapel-Kennebunk (67 Summer St, Kennebunk, ME 04043). A funeral service was held on Friday, March 7th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the Bibber Memorial Chapel - Kennebunk (67 Summer St, Kennebunk, ME 04043).
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Cotton Family Memorial Scholarship, to be created in honor of Joyce for a Kennebunk High School graduate entering the field of Nursing.
