John Robert La Flamme Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of John Robert La Flamme of Kennebunk, Maine, born in Sanford, Maine, who passed away on October 1, 2022, at the age of 94, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Cleophas Flamme and Josephine La Flamme (Bernier); his wife Birthe La Flamme; and his brothers, Oliver, Roland and Donald.
He is survived by: his children, Michele Virjee of Rockville, MD, Peter La Flamme of Merrimack, NH and Anne La Flamme (Graeme Jarvis) of Wellington; his grandchildren, Natasha, Julius, Bietta, Josephine and Hazel; and his cousin Bruce La Flamme (Ann). He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in John's name to the Seashore Trolley Museum, the Franciscan Monastery, or the Maine Veteran's Home.
