With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Jean Louise Shorey of Kennebunk, Maine, born in Biddeford, Maine, whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. In the soft embrace of remembrance, we recall the profound impact Jean had on those she encountered along her journey. Though Jean may have slipped beyond the veil of mortality, her essence lingers like a faint fragrance in the air, a lingering reminder of the beauty and complexity of the human experience.
She was predeceased by: her husband William A. Shorey. She is survived by: her sons, Robert "Bob" Kinney of North Waterboro, John Kinney of Kennebunk, Brian Shorey (Bethany) of Biddeford and William A. Shorey Jr. (Carol) of Kennebunk, ME; and her siblings, Wayne Howard of Kennebunk and Brenda Gosch of Wells. She is also survived by many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Friday, April 25th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Bibber Memorial Chapel - Kennebunk (67 Summer St, Kennebunk, ME 04043). A funeral service will be held on Friday, April 25th 2025 at 4:00 PM at the same location.
