She was predeceased by: her parents, Fred Sigle and Mildred Sigle (Thomas); and her siblings, Arnold, Clifford, Fred Sigle, Marion Riggins and Doris Gershwin.
She is survived by: her children, Jeffrey Vitanza (Josera) of North Brunswick, Timothy Vitanza of Wells, Maine, Amy DeLorenzo (Carmen) of Milltown and Allison Majkowski (Edward J.) of Kennebunk, Maine.; her grandchildren, Nunziatina DeFalco (Nicholas), Gianna DeLorenzo, Edward III (Catherine), Kyle, Frankie, Faith and Charles; and her great grandchildren, Nicholas and Luca.
A funeral service was held on Saturday, November 30th 2024 at 11:30 AM at 3 Langsford Rd, Kennebunkport, ME 04046.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made in Janet's memory to the Foundation for Sarcoidosis Research 320 W Ohio St #300, Chicago, IL 60654 or the Tunnels to Towers Foundation 2361 Hylan Boulevard, Staten, Island, NY 10306.
