George Cressey Obituary

It is with great sadness that we announce the death of George Cressey (Kennebunk, Maine), born in Portland, Maine, who passed away on May 20, 2021, at the age of 69, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Janis Cook Cressey and W. Churchill Cressey; and his sister Kimberlee Cressey. He is survived by: his wife Susan Fagan Cressey; his daughter-in-law Anna; his daughters, Lydia, Addison and Teagan; his pet Mya; his sons, Brian Cressey (Christine) and Eric Cressey (Anna); his sister Melissa Cressey Jackson; his stepbrother Robert Akers; his mother-in-law Ellen Fagan; his sister-in-law Cindy Fagan; and his aunt Jean Perkins. He is also survived by several nephews and cousins.

Attendees are politely asked to wear a mask at the service if they have yet to be vaccinated.
