It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Elizabeth Best of Kennebunk, Maine, born in Somerville, Massachusetts, who passed away on September 9, 2021, at the age of 87, leaving to mourn family and friends. She is survived by: her husband Gary Reardon Best; her children, Heidi Esancy and Gary Best II; and her grandchildren, Andrew Esancy, Charlotte Esancy and Nathaniel Best.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in memory of Betty "Neenie" Best in support of the Dempsey Center by sponsoring her son's Dempsey Challenge Team "Remembering Neenie".
