She was predeceased by: her parents, Stone Carlson and Dorothea Carlson; and her brothers, Richard Carlson and Jack Carlson. She is survived by: her daughter Dianne Spent; her husband Robert Hughes; her children, John E. Hughes (Violet) of Kennebunk, ME and Anne M. Hughes; her grandchildren, Sarah Hughes and Ben Hughes; and also Ziegler Carlson.
