It is with great sadness that we announce the death of David Edwin Kupferschmid of Kennebunk, Maine, who passed away on January 23, 2025, at the age of 83, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Julius E. Kupferschmid and Geraldyne M. Kupferschmid (Dunphy); and his sister Juliet. He is survived by: his wife Janet (Cormier); his children, Anne (Michael O'Brien), Timothy (Judith Kupferschmid) and Amy (Peter Pollini); his grandchildren, Libby O'Brien, Maxim Doiron, Mak O'Brien, Sydney Palmquist of Cincinnati, OH, Nathaniel Kupferschmid of Bronx, NY, Lauren Kupferschmid of Baltimore, MD, Catherine Pollini of Kennebunk, ME., Matthew Pollini of Kennebunk, ME. and Andrew Pollini of Kennebunk, ME.; and his sister Bonnie (Dean Kloter) of Ellington, CT. He is also survived by many in-laws, nieces, nephews, and friends.
A funeral Mass was held on Saturday, February 1st 2025 at 1:00 PM at the St. Martha's Church (30 Portland Rd, Kennebunk, ME 04043).
