He was predeceased by: his parents, Frederick William and Margaret S MacDonald Towne, Sr.; and his brothers, Frederick Jr. and Robert Towne. He is survived by: his wife Patricia Towne of Kennebunk; his stepchildren, Craig Sturtevant (Cynthia), Alan Sturtevant (Bette) and Laurie Brann of Oakland; and his friends, Lynn, Herb Baum of Kennebunk, Brenda Thomas and Vickie Bussey of Sidney. He is also survived by four step grandchildren, 5 step great grandchildren, one nephew, four nieces, many cousins.
