He was predeceased by: his mother Marion Bowden (Choate); his stepmother Alice Bowden (Travis); his aunt Caroline "Cal" Heyer (Therlow Heyer) of Jefferson; and his uncle Otto Howard "Pat" Bowden Jr. of Waldoboro. He is survived by: his father Charles Bowden of Jefferson; his children, Kyle Bowden of Winthrop and Cassidy Bowden of Bar Harbor; his sister Linda Elwell (Frank Elwell); and his aunt Flora Bowden (Simmons) of Waldoboro.
