He was predeceased by: his parents, George O'Donnell and Ruth O'Donnell (Cole); his sister Roxanne Hines; and his aunt Patricia Boyker. He is survived by: his siblings, Patty (Dale White), Marianne O'Donnell, Pam (Ray Kelley), Heidi (Ken Hagood), Tim O'Donnell, Jeff O'Donnell (Amy) and Terry O'Donnell (Beth). He is also survived by nieces and nephews, cousins and a few close friends.

“My deepest condolences to the O'Donnell family in the lost of Michael, their youngest sibling. I have nothing but fond memories of Michael and his deep love for family, friends and his animals. Michael and I shared a love for dogs and I was always impress with his ability to handle and train them. I was also impressed with his simple kindness and love for his nieces, nephews., brothers and sisters. He was a man that gave his all and asked very little in return. May he now rest in peace.”
