He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Elmer LaPlante and Irene LaPlante (Rushlow); his wife Doris Ridley; his children, Arthur, Marylou Nedik (Walter) of Florida, Elaine Reilly of Augusta, David LaPlante, Lisa of Waterville and Gary LaPlante (Janette) of Bridgton; and his brother Arlie LaPlante of Lewiston. He was also cherished by 11 grandchildren and several great- grandchildren.
