He was predeceased by: his parents, Lula Allen (Dill) and John "Roland" Ranger Sr.; and his granddaughter Danielle Ranger. He is survived by: his wife Kendalyn Ranger; his stepfather Hamblin Allen; his children, John Ranger III (Katrina), Yates Kennedy (Cheri) and Carey Jordan (Peter); his grandchildren, Alexander, Elizabeth, Jillian, Mackinnley, Abbey and Piper; and his great grandchild Gabriel.
