He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Leighton and Kathleen Leighton (Graham); his son Peter; and his granddaughter Danielle. He is survived by: his wife Joanne; his daughters, Erica (Carl Hutchinson) and Jessica Chevalier; his stepdaughters, Tammy Robbins (Gary Dolloff) and Morrigan (Patrick Swan); and his siblings, Robert, Carolyn and Cathy. He is also survived by four grandchildren.
