He was predeceased by: his parents, Leo Legere and Rose Legere (Breton); his wife Marie Rheaume; and his siblings, Lucien Legere, Theresa Legere, Margaret Castonguay and Aline Purington.
He is survived by: his sons, Michael Legere (Katie) of Orrington, Peter Legere (Susan) of Sullivan, David Legere (Camille) of Lamoine and Jeff Legere (Donna) of Gorham; and his sister Jeannine Perreault (Robert) of Jay. He is also survived by 10 grandchildren, 3 great-grandchildren.
