He was predeceased by: his parents, Burr C. Mitchell and Margaret P. Mitchell; his sisters, Ruth Hartley and Katherine Gray; his siblings-in-law, Virginia Mitchell, Grayson Hartley, Ralph Gray and James Ruel; and his in-laws, Patrick and Elsie Ruel.
He is survived by: his wife Patricia; his children, Kirke (Nancy), Mark (Jeanne), Karen (Cliff), Chris (Denise) and Rebecca (Bill); his grandchildren, Ben, Jon, Megan, Leila, Keriane, Forrest, Clinton, Brittany, Annie, Fallon and Paddy; his brother Maurice Mitchell; and his sister-in-law Diane Ruel. He is also survived by 16 great-grandchildren, special nieces, nephews, and cousins.
