He was predeceased by: his parents, Burleigh O'Roak and Mattie O'Roak; and his siblings, Frederick, Verda, Bill, Pud, Corinne, Dot and Dean.
He is survived by: his wife Gwendolyn; his children, Jon (Susan), Jill (Wilbur), Joleen (Bob) and Jeffrey (Lori); his grandchildren, Jaime Hersey, Janice Rushton (Jerrod, Rob Porter), Erin Bird (Michael, Shannon O'Roak) and Maureen O'Roak; his great grandchildren, Bryce Porter, Lauren Porter (Dylan, Jayden Rushton), Jordyn Rushton, Liam Bird, Quinn Bird and Keegan Bird; his great great grandchild Luca Crawford; his sister-in-law Cheryl Rivard (Norm); and his child Jeff. He is also survived by his children but he was an especially loving and doting grandfather, great grandfather and great-great grandfather.
Walton O'Roak, 96, of Island Falls died February 3, 2019, at Maine Veteran's Home in Bangor after a courageous battle with Alzheimer's disease.
