With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Madelyn Porter (Island Falls, Maine), born in Marlborough, New Hampshire, who passed away on October 29, 2023 at the age of 102. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Almyra Dolly Putnam (Streeter) and John Putnam; her husband Raymond Porter; her son Raymond Wesley Porter; and her sisters, Florance Bushy, Dorothy Patnode, Byrdis Hodgman, Cherolyn Bryne and Jennie Rigby.
She is survived by: her children, Linda Porter (Jan Jacome) of Derry, NH, John Porter (Deborah) of Patten and Judy Porter of Dover Foxcroft; her grandchildren, Heidi Porter, Shawn Porter, Eric LaPensee, Emily Auert, Matthew Dale and Jeffrey Dale; her great grandchildren, Brennan Hubbard, Ella Hubbard, Gillian Porter, Brianna Keely, Evan Dale, Eli Auert, Felix Dale and Leo Dale; and her friends, Dave, Deb and Matthew Cunha. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews.
Donations may be made to Madigan Estates Nursing Home in lieu of flowers.
