It is with great sadness that we announce the death of John Schmidt of Island Falls, Maine, born in Roscommon, Michigan, who passed away on October 16, 2022, at the age of 76, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Kenneth Schmidt and Edna Schmidt (Holmes); his brother Robert "Bob"; and his grandsons, Brandon and Brenton.
He is survived by: his son Kevin; his daughter-in-law Christina Schmidt; his grandchildren, Addyson and Bethany of Island Falls; his brothers, James Schmidt (Claudia) of Saginaw, MI. and Jesse Schmidt of Island Falls; his close friend Mary Grant; and his sister-in-law Georgia Beichler (Ray) of Maryland.
