She was loved and cherished by many people including: her grandparents, Alex and Maria Scholten; her husband Bob Sowers (Merle); her stepson Joey Sowers; her brother-in-law Wayne Sowers; her mother Euphemia Veerkamp (Femy); her sister-in-law Janine Veerkamp (Tony); her father Anthony Veerkamp (Tom); her siblings, Tony Veerkamp (Donna), Mary-Lou Mowat (Harvie), Cathy Veerkamp-Wallace (Bill), Irene Veerkamp-Dorcas (Troy), Elise Gorman, Nancy Legere (Todd) and Diane Boardman (Vincent); her nieces and nephews, Krystal, Courtney, Jessica, Sarah, Chelsey, Christie, Cody, Wesley, Quinn, Marcus, Michael and Conor; her great-nieces and great-nephews, Owen, Henry, Emerlee, Caroline and Eloise; her stepson Bob Sowers (August); her brothers-in-law, Dale Sowers (Jane) and Phil Sowers (Joan); her goddaughters, Jessica Gorman and Haley Goodwin; and her pet PJ.
