He was predeceased by: his wife Shirley L. Homan (Quinn); and his siblings, Nora Day, Gayle Stanley and David Homan. He is survived by: his parents, John Homan Sr. and Maria Dana; his stepchildren, BillieJo Porter (Ernest J. Lola II), William McPhail and Lucas McPhail; and his grandchildren, Ernest Lola III and Brittany Lynn Polches. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
