With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Velma Mae Paradis (Houlton, Maine), born in Island Falls, Maine, who passed away on October 5, 2023 at the age of 93. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Lester Grendell and Leversa Grendell (Campbell); her husband Kenneth "Frenchie" Paradis; her sister Emilie London; her brother-in-law Jack London; her niece Bonnie Bishop; and her great grandchild Abby MacArthur.
She is survived by: her children, Kenneth Alan Paradis (Kathleen), Diana MacDonald (David Peabody), Beverly Nason (Terry), Janet Warman (Bruce), Karen Paradis, Carla Griffin (Stephen) and Lori Holmes (Mitchell); and her nephew Martin London (Gail). She is also survived by fourteen grandchildren, twenty-two great-grandchildren, and six great-great-grandchildren.
