He was predeceased by: his parents, Ralph Mackenzie and Charlotte Mackenzie; his siblings, Ralph Mackenzie (Gloria) and Elizabeth (Richard Hatfield); and his brothers-in-law, Ralph Hooke (Janet) and Carl Macdonald.
He is survived by: his friend Dearly; his wife Ella; his son Robert Jr. (Sheila) of Millinocket; his granddaughter Kristina (Brad Wheaton); his great grandchildren, Brady and Riley of Plymouth; his grandson Michael (Georgia MacKenzie); his great grandchild Anastasia of Scarborough; his grandson Daniel MacKenzie (Mikaela King) of Hampden; his aunt Phyllis Banks; and his sister-in-law Dale Macdonald. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
In Lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the 1st Congregational Church in East Millinocket.
