We are sad to announce that on November 10, 2024, at the age of 84, Robert C. Nightingale of Houlton, Maine passed away. He was predeceased by: his parents, Wilford Nightingale and Evelyn Nightingale (Chasse); and his siblings, Mildred Folsom, Gilmay Smith, Dorothy Leighton and Milford Nightingale.
He is survived by: his wife Deanna Nightingale (Ellis) of Bangor; his children, Bonnie Foster (Robert Ferris) of Bangor and Scott Nightingale of East Hartford, CT.; his siblings, Patsy Nightingale of Bangor and Gary Nightingale (Des) of Bangor; and his siblings-in-law, Joan Nightingale, Wanda Bard, Beth Tracey, Yvonne MacIntosh and Carmon Ellis. He is also survived by several grandchildren and great grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, November 19th 2024 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Bowers Funeral Home - Houlton (10 Water St, Houlton, ME 04730). A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, November 19th 2024 from 12:00 PM to 12:00 PM at the same location. A graveside service will be held on Tuesday, November 19th 2024 at 1:00 PM at the Evergreen Cemetery.
