He was predeceased by: his parents, Wilford Nightingale and Evelyn Nightingale (Chasse); and his siblings, Mildred Folsom, Gilmay Smith, Dorothy Leighton and Milford Nightingale.
He is survived by: his wife Deanna Nightingale (Ellis) of Bangor; his children, Bonnie Foster (Robert Ferris) of Bangor and Scott Nightingale of East Hartford, CT.; his siblings, Patsy Nightingale of Bangor and Gary Nightingale (Des) of Bangor; and his siblings-in-law, Joan Nightingale, Wanda Bard, Beth Tracey, Yvonne MacIntosh and Carmon Ellis. He is also survived by several grandchildren and great grandchildren.
