She was predeceased by: her parents, Lawrence Hoyt and Geraldine Hoyt (Codrey); and her children, Brett and Sherry. She is survived by: her sons, Robert Hitchcock of Bangor, Kenny Hitchcock of Oakfield and Greg Hitchcock of Calais; and her sister Pasty Scott of New Hampshire. She is also survived by five grandchildren, four great grandchildren.
