He was predeceased by: his parents, Etta Morse and Joshua Morse; and his sisters, Janet McKinnon, Phyllis Bradbury Kennedy, Verna Shaw, Lois Shaw Antworth, Leota McNinch Roberts and Jesse Oparowski.
He is survived by: his wife Eva Mae McKinnon; his daughter Laurie Ann; his grandchildren, Caleb, Elayna and Lydia; his son DeWayne "Bearcat" Morse; and his grandsons, Ethan and Isaac.
