She was predeceased by: her parents, Cecil Brown and Mildred Brown (Maxwell); her former husband Roderick McKay; her husband Dale Whitten; and her brother Robert Brown.
She is survived by: her children, Kathy (Mike Thompson) and Kent (Carol McKay); her grandchildren, Nicholas Thompson (Jordana) of Berwick, ME, Erika Bernard (Luke) of Presque Isle, ME and Colin McKay of Portsmouth, RI; her great grandchildren, Emerson Thompson, Natalie and Miles Bernard; her brother Paul Brown (Linda) of Crouseville, ME; and her sister-in-law Terry Burke (Stan Bagley). She is also survived by nieces and nephew.
