He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Rainsford Chase and Jennie Billings Chase; his wife Patricia Ivey Reardon; his children, Ronald Reardon (Darlene) of Brownfield, Sandra Skehan (John), Linda Cowperthwaite (Al) of Houlton and Kim Plourde (Dave Iannotti) of South Thomaston; his grandchildren, Michelle Seavey, Kevin Reardon, Bobby Blake, Jennie, Jacob Cowperthwaite, Rebecca, Megan Skehan, Laura and Hannah Plourde; his great grandchildren, Michael, Samuel Seavey, Brody, Brennan Libby, Nora, Samuel Cowperthwatie and Brinleigh Boyington; and his sisters-in-law, Betty Ivey Brooks and Carol Ivey Power (Thomas). He was also cherished by many nieces and nephews.
